9:40 a.m. PT: Hi everyone, this is Roman Loyola. I’m in Apple Park to attend the keynote. There’s a buzz here that’s different from past keynotes. A ton of excitement in the air – there’s always excitement at WWDC, but with the subtext of what might happen this year, it’s more palpable.

11:10 a.m. PT: New Bike features, can connect to Bluetooth sensors, FTP estimate and power zones, activity appears on iPhone automatically. 1:21 a.m. PT: Apple announces Apple Vision Pro
11:22 a.m. PT: The headset looks more like ski goggles than a VR headset. It looks futuristic. A 3D interface with applications appears in your environment. It looks like your part is the UI. EyeSight allows you to see your eyes through the helmet. Can use an input device and act as a Mac display.
WWDC 2023: Latest news and rumors
Apple Store down: As usual, Apple closed its online store a few hours before the keynote, a sign that new products will be available for purchase or pre-order.

Helmet shipping next year: Reports by Ming-Chi Kuo that the headset might not begin mass shipments until 2024. That’s not uncommon – the Mac Pro, iMac Pro, and HomePod were all announced at WWDC and only shipped in large quantities at first quarter of the following year.
Helmet name and price: A rumor from Yeux1122 on Naver claims that Apple’s headphones will be called Apple XR and will cost $1,999 instead of the rumored $2,999.
Demonstration structures on site: Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple built “two demo areas” ahead of today’s event. According to the report, we are inside the Steve Jobs Theater as usual, but Apple has also prepared a second temporary structure exclusively for the demonstration of the helmet.

Apple Headset Colors: According to leaker billbil_kun writing for French tech site Dealabs, the AR/VR headset will be available in multiple colors, including black, blue, gray, green and pink. The same report claims that it will be available with 128 GB or 256 GB.
New design of the watchOS 10 weather app: Among the many changes expected in watchOS 10 is a new weather app which looks more like the iOS 16 version.
Mac Pro stock is shrinking: Most Mac Pro configurations on Apple.com are 4 weeks out of stock and won’t ship until July.
