The Wired Charging Mode feature is available after updating to Security app version V9.1.4-240511.1.1. For now it is not available to all users, but it has already started to reach the first users of Xiaomi, POCO and Redmi models with the HyperOS operating system. To find out if it is already available for our device, we must go to the System Settings menu, access the section “System Application Updater” and check for a new available update.
This way we can limit the charging speed whenever we do not need the highest speed, to protect the health of the battery and extend its life with the maximum possible performance.
