Xiaomi Mi 9T is starting to update to Android 10 and MIUI 11

Android, MIUI, starting, update, Xiaomi

In just one month we will be launching the new Xiaomi Mi 10, but today we have to talk about one of its predecessors, the Xiaomi Mi 9T. The model, the international version of the Redmi K20, is already being updated on Android 10 outside of China.

Xiaomi has started rolling out a new version of Android for this signal, and has also decided to install MIUI 11, the latest version of its iconic display, with significant improvements with the previous version. Of course, it doesn't have an app drawer, though it has been waiting for some time.

It's kind of global, and yet has its downsides

At the Xiaomi forum it was announced the availability of the version V11.0.4.0.QFJMIXM for the Xiaomi MI 9T, a Beta Stable version based on the MIUI 11, but still flawed, as users note. For example, when we zoom in a gallery, a square appears and the image is not properly displayed.

In fact, Xiaomi intends to send this beta version to a few users to make sure there are no major failures, fix the issue and send a stable version to all owners of this model.

New Vlog mode for Xiaomi Mi 9T camera

In addition to the new version of MIUI and Android, there are also features on camera, which enable the Vlog mode of the company's latest models on the Xiaomi Mi 9T. This option allows us to record the front camera in high-resolution mode with better results.

As expected, this update was used to update the Android security patch, now January 2020, the last available for now.
