Xiaomi launched the new Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime 2022, a new entry-level mobile which is practically the same as the Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime that we already knew, which in turn was very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi 10 which was “renewed” in the Xiaomi Redmi 10 2022. It’s not a tongue twister, it’s is Xiaomi.
The Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime 2022 is already on sale as a mobile with Helio G88, 90 Hz LCD screen, 50-megapixel quad camera and large battery. That is, the same as the Xiaomi Redmi Prime, but with a 2022 in the name and very few changes.

This mobile rings for me
As if we haven’t had enough with Xiaomi launching very similar mobiles between different series and under different names, now the company seems have taken a liking to reissues: essentially the same mobile, but changing the year in its name. There is nothing wrong with that, although the most striking thing is that the technical sheet remains practically the same.
The Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime 2022 is an entry-level mobile with Helio G88 with versions with 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of RAM. Therefore, there is no version with 6 GB of RAM and instead there is a variant that did not exist before: the one with 4 GB of RAM with 128 GB storage.
A few more differences can be found on the data sheet. We find a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen, with a 90Hz refresh rate and the front camera, 8 megapixels, punch-hole in the center.
Behind, the Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime 2022 mounts a quad camera with 50 megapixel main sensor, with an 8-megapixel wide-angle, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a fourth 2-megapixel sensor for portrait mode. The terminal has, like the previous model, stereo speakers, IR Blaster and the fingerprint reader on one of its sides.
The Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime 2022 has a large battery, 6000mAh capacity and with support for 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging. Another almost imperceptible difference of the Xiaomi Redmi 10 Prime 2022 compared to its previous version is that the MicroSD slot is hybrid, so you have to choose between using two SIMs or a memory card.
