The Spanish DGT (Directorate General of Traffic) just launched this one MiDGT app, which we can have our driver's license on our iPhone. You can now download it for free from the App Store, which is compatible with iOS 11 and later versions of the program. At present it does not replace the physical card, but changes to the rules that have already been drafted should reach that point in time.
Xataka Partners has published a complete update on their operating system using the Android terminal (where miDGT is available), but you can use it because the registration method is very similar to iOS. Just have a well-established electronic ID, Cl @ ve PIN or endless password to identify us.
All the details of your cars by tapping your finger
In addition to a driver's license, the application also indicate how many points you have on the card with all the details of the vehicles in your name including robbery, high, low and insurance notices. We can also generate a QR code for a driver's license, should any sensor require it.
Given the absurd genius that sometimes surrounds this kind of official document in Spain, miDGT is a good step to be able to have our official documents on the iPhone that we hope will work out sooner rather than later. Some reviews in the App Store complain about crashes, however in my case I was able to register and access all my information without any problems.
