After several months away from Apple devices, Fortnite returns to iPhone and iPad. It does this through the GeForce Now cloud gaming serviceand totally free.
We all know about the open field war between Apple and Fortnite developer Epic. The one that was not so long ago the best known game in the world, thanks to its availability on each of the possible platforms, has long since been released from Apple devices after breaking the rules of the App Store and starting a battle judicial with mutual accusations between the two companies. At this point, it seems like a return to Apple’s official App Store is pretty unlikely, but thanks to increasingly popular cloud gaming services, playing Fortnite on our iPhone and iPad is now possible, and also completely free
And that’s thanks to GeForce Now, Nvidia’s streaming game platform, giving us next-gen PC gaming on any device, anywhere. The service announced that Fortnite is no longer in beta on its platform and can now be played in its entirety by anyone who signs up for its service
And for those who want to play a Battle Royale without resorting to other third-party services, we remind you that Apex Legends Mobile is available for free. You can download it from the App Store for iPhone and iPad from this link.
