In February, Apple announced a new system to make it easier for merchants to accept credit card payments. Under the name of Tap to Pay, the system turns any iPhone into an iPhone capable of accepting contactless payment, via a physical card or Apple Pay. Now, for the first time, we see how the system works in action.

Tap to Pay was discovered at the Apple Park Visitor Center, the Apple Park Apple Store where you can pay bring our iPhone or Apple Watch closer to the addict’s iPhone take care of us As we can see in the following Twitter video, the system is very simple.

We can see that at the beginning of the video, the clerk enters the total amount that we have to pay. Then press OKAY and the iPhone enters charging mode. In this mode, a large store logo next to the amount we will pay. So, at a glance, we as customers can verify that the figure is correct.
In this mode, all you have to do is bring our iPhone or Apple Watch closer, in this case using the Apple Card, to make the payment. iPhone with Tap to Pay displays an animation and confirms payment has been received.
The process, as we can see, is very simple, quick and easy. With clear indications, some sound, that the process has been successfully completed, the payment is considered complete. With everything, Tap to Pay looks set to expand into the US and later into other markets. A method by which any business, even if it is an ice cream cart, can turn your iPhone into a payment terminal in the easiest way.
