This is how you identify fake emails
1 & 1 Ionos customers should be aware of phishing emails to inform them about so-called new products. According to Mail-Text, the new Webmailer will be free from February 20. If you click on the link, you will go to a dangerous page.
Relevant readers currently forward phishing emails to us on behalf of 1 & 1 Ionos. The subject is "Pause Service!" The sender's name is "1 & 1ionos". These messages even include the logo of the web host and try to lure you into a trap with the following text:
Dear Customer
We are pleased to introduce a new product, starting February 20th, Ionos' new webmail will be available for free. New tools ensure you send your inbox faster and more flexibly. Automatically updating to the new Webmailer requires a single login and is completely free.
This only takes a few minutes, and from February 27, a new webmail program will appear in your account. 237647887947293789273892793

If you click on the link behind the phrase "Update Now", you will be taken to a fraud page. Google Chrome displays fraud warnings directly on the page. However, we assume that you will see a fake login mask from 1 & 1 Ionos.
If you enter user data here, you will most likely eavesdrop on it and your account may be hijacked. Additionally, you indicate that your email address is real and you may be plagued by other phishing messages. If you received an email from 1 & 1 Ionos, you should ignore it or forward it to the following email address:
