Microsoft announced that there will be 12 EA games on Xbox Series X/S that will get FPS Boost.
EA games that support this feature include “Star Wars Battlefront 2”, “Fall of Titans” and three “Plants vs. Zombies” and “Battlefield” games.
These games will get 120hz support, the list is as follows:
- Battlefield 1
- Battlefield 4
- Battlefield 5
- Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst
- Plants vs. Zombies: Battle of the Neighbors
- Plants vs. Zombies Garden Combat
- Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Wars 2
- Star Wars Battlefront
- Star Wars Battlefront 2
- Titanfall
- Titanfall 2
- Disband 2
FPS Boost uses multiple methods to almost double the original frame rate of the selected title. In this way, a higher and more stable frame rate can be obtained, which makes the game visually smoother.
To check whether the game you are playing is running FPS Boost or Auto HDR, you can tap the Xbox button on the controller while playing the game. If this feature is enabled, you can see the guide overlay indicator in the upper right corner. It’s not.

The first games to benefit from FPS enhancements were “Far Cry 4”, “New Super Lucky Story”, “Sniper Elite 4”, “UFC 4” and “Watch Dogs 2”, followed by “Shame”: Final Edition, ” Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Prey. And Skyrim Special Edition.
