Forza Horizon 5: Trailer finally reveals the first major DLC… Hot Wheels
What’s new?
We summarize the most important changes for you here:
Graphics settings: Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TAA) is now available in Settings. In contrast to the older Multi-Sample Anti-Aliasing (MSAA), it ensures that several previous images are included in the calculation of the current image. The performance of your PC will not be put to the test as much as it used to be.
Story-Buy: Forza Horizon story missions can now be played with up to five friends.
New event: Forza EV is a Rivals event where you have to beat the best time. Every month there’s a new route to conquer.
Incidentally, Forza Horizon is also available in Microsoft’s Game Pass, along with other major AAA titles. In the Plus podcast, we discuss what its success means for the industry:

New cars: Lots of new cars make it into the game. Four of them can be unlocked within the next few days and weeks. For this you have to get 20 points in the festival playlist in the respective week.
- 2018 Hot Wheels 2JetZ: Unlockable between 23.06. and the 29.06.
- 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Formula-S: The Mustang is available between June 30th and July 6th
- 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee: The Super Bee is unlockable from July 7th to July 13th.
- 1957 Hot Wheels Nash Metropolitian Custom: You can rent this car from 14.07. – 20.07. to back up.
The following cars are included in the update, but can either only be earned via the Wheelspin or unlocked in the upcoming DLC.:
- 2012 Hot Wheels Rip Rod
- 1949 Hot Wheels Ford F-5 Dually Custom Hot Rod
- 2005 Hot Wheels Ford Mustang
And if you have the Car Pass, you also have access to these vehicles:
- 2021 Aston Martin DBX
- 2020 Lexus RC F Track Edition
- 2019 Nissan 370z Nismo
