Recently this Kickstarter appeared around this Lovecraft inspired horror game, was more than 1800% funded. Investigation and horror in the same game
If you like Lovecraft’s creatures and Agatha Christie’s investigations, then you might fall under the spell of Horror on the Orient Express, a 1991 take on the famous board game of the same name, still signed by Chaosium. In this investigation You have to search for artifacts aboard the Orient Express train. However, your search is disrupted by a cult called the “Skin Brothers”. In this new version, almost all elements have been redesigned to offer players a completely new gaming experience, but also three new characters and around fifty new skills, abilities or card passengers. Although the goal was only $50,000, hundreds of people wanted to contribute to the creation of “Horror on the Orient Express.” Ultimately, more than $900,000 was raised on Kickstarter in 10 days.
