Activision Blizzard does not foresee delays in Call of duty this year, which is still scheduled for the end of 2020 – probably coinciding with the launch of the new consoles. Delays in autumn production due to the coronavirus and the new working conditions of many studies had been speculated in recent months, but it does not seem to affect the development plan for this title.

"Looking to the future, the next Call of Duty premium -that is, paid, unlike Warzone– it looks great and remains in the plan to arrive this year, "said Daniel Alegre to investors. Last February the company announced a launch window between October and December.

"The saga has never been better positioned to grow and there is much to see, including new experiences in the universe Modern warfare and of course in the fourth quarter a new Call of Duty premium which is already creating a lot of emotion in our game tests"

Set in Vietnam?

Current rumors suggest Treyarch will take over the game after internal tensions at Sledgehammer Games –Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: WWII– due to the change in generation and conflicts in the business model. I don't know how to call Call of Duty: Black Ops 5, but is set in Vietnam and present a tough campaign, in the style of the last Modern warfare -the one that would also use its graphics engine-. The multiplayer will recover modes of great battles between teams of 32 players, large maps, many others taking up the most iconic scenarios of the Black ops original in addition to the manual cure of Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII. There will be no new battle royale as Call of Duty: Warzone keep updating for years.
