News culture 25 years later, this sports manga is being adapted into an anime on Netflix by the creators of Fate/Grand Order and Tomo-chan Is a Girl!
Netflix has just announced the upcoming release of the anime adaptation of Rising Impact, a sports manga published in Weekly Shonen Jump between 1998 and 2002.
Netflix announces the arrival of the anime Rising Impact
Netflix continues to expand its anime catalog. While Plutothe adaptation of the manga of the same name by Naoki Urasawa, was recently released on the platform, Netflix has just announced the upcoming release of Rising Impact, the adaptation of a 25-year-old manga.
The first season is scheduled for next June, followed by a second broadcast in August. Rising Impact tells the story of Nanaumi Gawain, a young boy who develops a passion for golf. Equipped with exceptional strength for his age and a unique sense of observation, Gawain will gradually discover the sport and develop his talents against talented rivals from around the world at the Camelot Academy in Tokyo.
The first manga by Nakaba Suzuki
The anime is produced by the Lay-duce studio, which is particularly known for its work on Fate/Great Order
This adaptation of Rising Impact also marks a new collaboration between Netflix and author Nakaba Suzuki, who drew it Seven Deadly Sins. Increasing effect is his very first manga, which he started in 1998. The author was able to preview the work on the adaptation of Lay-duce and had a word for fans during the Netflix announcement.
