2XKO has yet to be released, with a release date of 2025 as of this writing, and players already have the game tattooed on their fingers. Hope it stays in good shape and the name doesn’t change!

Nitten has been a longtime supporter of the game for years, posting about their tattoos on Twitter. The name of the game – 2XKO – is permanently imprinted on four of his five fingers for all the world to see. A sign of dedication. Video game tattoos are not uncommon among gamers and have a rich history in the medium, but these games are usually classics. From what we’ve seen, this is the first 2XKO Tattoo (as long as one of the developers hasn’t beaten Nitten yet).

The name itself – 2XKO – caused controversy when it was first announced. The game’s new name, formerly known as “Project L,” received mixed reactions despite being closely tied to its 2v2 roots. Even so, it seems to persist. 2XKO is currently in the midst of a pre-release hype cycle, with the closed alpha already over and packed with players, and a steady schedule of new announcements over the past few months. With Worlds set to be the game’s next major event later this year, the pre-release community is still hungry for new updates.

As for Nitten, he has obviously seized the opportunity to open up in this game. Let’s hope 2XKO stays in good shape and no one looks at his fingers when the combo inevitably fails. Who knows? Maybe the tattoos would bring some kind of supernatural benefit to the show? Only time will tell.
