Not every pearl is in a shell, some are hidden on Steam. As we do every weekend, we present you five insider tips that attract a lot of positive feedback without making big headlines.

Our author Paul is full of praise for Fallen AcesSteam users are also celebrating the shooter, in which we beat up lots of crooks, for its comic style and breathless action, among other things.
We get to the bottom of a series of murders of the guards of the noir town of Switchblade City and use our fists and guns to send busy crooks to the afterlife.
Consent on Steam: 97 percent of over 4,100 reviewers say it’s positive.
I Am Your Beast

An incredible 99 percent of players on Steam are celebrating this sandbox shooter

Another celebrated shooter, but a little less known: I Am Your Beast turns us into secret agents who shoot their way through sandbox levels to fulfill the orders of their slightly choleric superiors.
Although there aren’t as many Steam reviews as there are for Fallen Aces (see above), they are almost exclusively positive. There is praise for the style and gameplay, and the difficulty level is also said to be suitable for shooter beginners.

Fatalzone

Fatalzone focuses on survival shooting in an end-time scenario

Bullet Heaven, Reverse Bullet Hell, Vampire-Survivors-like? Whatever you want to call the genre, Fatalzone is part of it. What all representatives of the genre have in common: the screen is bustling and flashing more and more until we die or win.
In Fatalzone we fight our way through ever larger hordes of zombies and level up our character with new attacks and abilities that are executed automatically and send the undead back to hell.
Consent on Steam: 70 percent of over 1,800 reviewers say it’s positive.
The Werecleaner
Genre: Humor stealth game | Steam-Release: 7. May 2024 | Preis: for free
A gift is not too expensive: The curious stealth game The Werecleaner has no price tag, but it does have a janitor on the night shift who also happens to be a werewolf. And it has what some developers want: thousands of satisfied players.
We sneak through the levels where bloody crimes have taken place and clean the rooms while enemies make life difficult for us. Their dynamic behavior invites you to outmaneuver or eliminate them, depending on your taste.

Megaloot
Genre: Dungeon Crawler | Steam-Release: 30. August 2024 | Preis: 10 Euro
Another roguelike in our list is called Megaloot and focuses on role-playing and dungeon crawling. The game is supported by the well-known Europe influencer Maximilian HandOfBlood

As the name suggests, Megaloot focuses on the loot collected in the dungeons and inventory management. There is a free Steam demo of Megaloot available on Steam to try out.
