The developers of Steelrising finally show off new game scenes in the exclusive gameplay trailer on the GameInformer YouTube Channel. In the six minutes we get to see, among other things, two different places in an alternative Paris. The story takes place during the revolution at the end of the 18th century. But in an alternative steampunk setting.
But this time there are also a lot of fights to see, which have certain similarities to Souls games. Bloodborne fans in particular should be excited because not only the setting but also the fights are reminiscent of the From Software title.
As a sidearm we see, among other things, a shotgun with which we can inflict damage on opponents and a generally fast combat system. Even a boss fight against a huge machine is presented to us towards the end.

What is Steelrising about?
The developers of Spiders, already known for the RPG Greedfall, send you into an alternative version of the French Revolution. As befits a steampunk, you fight against a whole army of machines that King Louis XVI. lets loose on you to continue to hold on to his power.
We slip into a female bodyguard machine called the Aegis. This is considered a true masterpiece and was created for Marie-Antoinette herself to serve her and prevent King Louis from committing a real massacre.
