The “hardened” version of Spellforce 3 builds on the original with numerous updates and improvements. The game’s RTS mechanics have been completely overhauled, and the three playable factions (Humans, Orcs, and Elves) have been redesigned to be more distinctive in the game. Additionally, character skill trees have been expanded, while the game’s central hub and general quest flow have been tweaked to ensure a better paced experience. Coupled with several new modes, including Arena Mode, PvP Skirmishes, and 20 hours of extra content in Journey Mode, the experience is greatly improved.

Spellforce: The prequel to The Order of Dawn, Spellforce 3 is the perfect place to start your Spellforce adventure. It took place in 518, after the rebellion of the renegade mages was brutally suppressed by the royal family. However, the civil war threw the kingdom into chaos, and countless refugees were forced to flee the war, while a terrible plague known as “Bloodburn” spread across the land.
Rondar Lacaine stepped into this vortex, a priest who claimed to have the solution to all the misfortunes of the kingdom, who called for the total banishment of all magic. Lacaine begs you, a disgraced former corporal of the Queen’s Wolf Guard, to help him end the plague, but are Lacaine’s intentions pure, or are you just a pawn in a bigger game? Customize your hero and your party
Spellforce 3: Reforced’s deep RPG system lets you create any hero you want. An extensive character creator allows you to customize your hero’s gender, skin color and general appearance, while its layered class system lets you choose not only your hero’s general class, but also by choosing from three skill trees called “disciplines” it.
As you play, your character will become more professional by leveling up these disciplines and acquiring new weapons and equipment. As you explore the expansive world of Spellforce 3, so will other characters joining your party. Up to three companions can accompany you anywhere on the world map, allowing you to equip your party for every possible scenario.
Assemble the army
No fantasy RPG is complete without an epic battle or two, or in the case of Spellforce 3, dozens of fantasy RPGs. Unlike most fantasy RPGs, Spellforce 3 gives you direct control over the army you deploy, from individual units to the faction you choose to deploy. Command infantry, martial artists and halberdiers as human factions, or rangers and mighty druids with field bows as elves. Alternatively, the orc faction lets you deploy hulking beasts and agile hunters backed by gigantic trolls and fearsome flesh giants. No matter which faction you choose, your troops will be brought into battle by your team of heroes who can turn the tide of battle with powerful melee attacks and devastating spells.

Spellforce 3 is designed to accommodate a wide range of multiplayer experiences.
