In keeping with the 10th anniversary of Star Citizen, there is news about the highly anticipated Squadron 42 single-player campaign – but not from the official side. A leak shows us more than nine minutes of video footage of the game.
Just a few days ago Citizencon was in full swing. You can find a classification of the announcements of the fair in the expert analysis at GameStar Plus:

Star Citizen keeps fans happy, but a leak steals the show
What is there to see?
The leaked material is said to be almost a year old and thus does not reflect the current status of Squadron 42. Nevertheless, the scenes look quite promising. Especially since they should all be in-engine recordings and not post-rendered sequences. You can see the leaked video watch on youtube.
- Environments: The leak shows us atmospheric planets, futuristic interior buildings and a few spaceships.
- Space Battle: At the end of the video we can see a full-scale battle in space. It is still unclear whether these scenes will ultimately be playable in Squadron 42 or will only consist of cutscenes.
- Actor: We can see the in-game heads of some of the actors involved in the project in the video. For example, we see Liam Cunningham, best known as Daavos Seewerth from Game of Thrones. These aren’t the only recognizable faces in Squadron 42. In the following gallery you can find other ac tors who will appear in the single player:

At that time there was a so-called visual teaser for the campaign that had a comparable style. In our video we show not only that, but also other gameplay presentations and check together with YouTuber Knebel, what has become of the promised features:
