No more noise from the corridors, the Iron Man game from Electronic Arts is official. Developers, talents, scope, here are the few details known about this project.
Electronic Arts’ Iron Man game, which has been the subject of rumors for a few weeks, has been confirmed. The third-person single-player title is in development at EA Motive. Here’s what we know about this project that’s a long way from happening.
A great single player Iron Man game from the developers of Dead Space Remake
An Iron Man game is officially in development at EA Motive, currently in Dead Space Remake. At the helm of the title is Olivier Proulx, who had previously worked wonders in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. He is joined by industry veterans such as Ian Frazier (BioWare), Maëlenn Lumineau (Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Immortal Fenyx Rising) and JF Poirier (Ubisoft).
In pre-production only, the Iron Man project will be a single-player, third-person action game. It will tell an original, “fresh” story all about Tony Stark. We also remember that a Black Panther game would also be in development at EA.
We’re excited to be working with the talented team at Motive Studio to bring their original take on one of Marvel’s most important, powerful and beloved characters. Her experience in creating established universes and exciting gameplay, combined with her genuine passion for this armored icon, will fuel our quest to deliver a love letter to a legendary hero, all in the form of the Iron Man Ultimate game.
