The battery life of the DualSense Edge controller is slightly shorter than that of the original DualSense, because we have incorporated many more features that maintain the same shape and ergonomic design of the original DualSense. We wanted to find a good balance between wireless uptime and adding features. Additionally, the longer braided USB cable is also ideal for competitive gamers who prefer to play using a wired connection to avoid wireless interference – an option that extends battery life.
