An interesting announcement at Gamescom promises exciting new experiences for Forza Horizon 5 fans in September. Find out the details here.
During Gamescom, Microsoft revealed a surprise that caused great excitement among Forza Horizon 5 fans. The Playground Games studio behind this famous racing game revealed new content that promises to re new the multiplayer experience. If you thought you had explored all facets of Forza Horizon 5, you might be surprised by what’s coming this September.
A new mode for Forza Horizon
This is the introduction of a new game mode based on a simple but addictive concept: six players compete against each other, with only one player taking on the role of the hider and the other five taking on the role of the explorer. The hider’s goal is to get to a safe zone undetected, while the seekers must do everything they can to find him and “tag” him before he can escape.
Inspired by classic street games like cat and mouse, this mode brings a new dimension to Forza Horizon 5 where stealth driving and stealth are just as important as speed. Although the premise may seem simple, Hide and Seek introduces gameplay elements that spice up the experience. The hidden player drives a standard vehicle, identical to those found in AI-controlled traffic. Such as the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, a collectible vehicle that is also common on the streets. This feature allows the hidden player to blend into the circuit, making its detection more difficult for researchers.
A very funny experience?
In addition, the Hidden One has power-ups at his disposal to help him escape his pursuers. For example, the Chase Breaker allows you to temporarily disable the nearby search engine while simultaneously making the hidden vehicle invisible for a few moments.
But researchers won’t be left out either. They will have access to more powerful vehicles and tools to track down the hidden, such as a hot/cold indicator that shows the proximity of the hidden, as well as a power-up to show the hidden’s location for 20 seconds.
This new mode will be added to Forza Horizon 5 as part of the Series 38 update scheduled for September 10. Although this mode is free, it requires an Xbox Game Pass Core subscription to participate as a multiplayer event.
