Here is the contents of the patch, including a significant number of improvements to all stats and gameplay, including the available arsenal.
A/MLS-4X missile turret :
- Reduced dispersion and prioritized larger targets.
- The target distance has been increased from 75 to 100 meters.
- The number of missiles per salvo has been reduced from 2 to 1 for better ammunition economy.
- Explosion radius increased from 1 to 4 meters.
- Projectile damage increased from 200 to 300.
A/MG-43 machine gun turret :
- Cooldown reduced from 180 to 120 seconds.
Various towers :
- Increased durability from 0% to 80% for multiple turrets.
Mine MD-6 Anti-Personnel :
- Explosion damage increased from 250 to 350.
Incendiary mines MD-I4 :
- Explosion damage increased from 150 to 210.
Changes to Orbital Attacks
Gatling Orbital :
- Rate of fire increased by 25%.
- The number of bullets per salvo has been increased from 30 to 60.
- Cooldown reduced from 80 to 70 seconds.
Orbital precision strike :
- The cooldown has been reduced from 100 seconds to 90 seconds and the call time has been reduced from 4 seconds to 2 seconds.
Orbital air bombardment :
- Cooldown reduced from 120 to 100 seconds.
Weapon customization
Lance grenades GL-21 :
- Explosion damage increased from 350 to 400.
Heavy machine gun MG-206 :
- Projectile damage increased from 100 to 150 and reload time reduced from 7 to 5.5 seconds.
MG-43 machine gun :
- The reload time has been reduced from 4 to 3.5 seconds and the maximum number of magazines has been increased from 3 to 4.
Gameplay revisions
Operation Modifier Air Defense :
- The modifier that reduces War Battle slots by 1 has been removed to encourage more variety.
Defence mission for essential personnel :
- Temporary deactivation to improve mission quality and interest.
Superior samples :
- Available from difficulty level 6 to avoid forcing players into uncomfortable difficulty levels.
Artillery SEAF :
- Now usable in the presence of Stratagem Jammers or Ion Storms.
Helldivers 2 Enemy and Environment Adjustments
Acid effect :
- Reduced slowing effect and ability to run under acid exposure.
Balancing Armored Enemies :
- The number of heavily armored enemies has been reduced and the hordes of smaller enemies have been increased to diversify players’ strategies.
Patrols :
- Go back to the previous process with some adjustments to avoid having layers that are too empty.
Fire tornadoes and tremors :
- More random behavior of fire tornadoes and larger size of tremor epicenters for more variability.
Visibility :
- Fog intensity on several planets has been adjusted to reduce visual fatigue.
