Monster Hunter Wilds pushes the boundaries of collector’s editions with an insane package, both in terms of price and content. However, not everyone will be able to obtain it.
Monster Hunter Wilds has fans of the Capcom license drooling, but don’t panic, it will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC from February 28, 2025. For us, the game will be available in standard, deluxe and premium deluxe editions in digital form, while there will be a classic physical version and a more limited steelbook version.
A Collector of Monster Hunter Wilds
Monster Hunter Wilds will be released very soon and has brought a very nice surprise for many players. In fact, the PS5 demo made available to Tokyo Game Show 2024 attendees ran at 60fps. In addition, the game will also be optimized for the future PS5 Pro. There is obviously no big collector for the release at the moment, quite the opposite in Japan. Capcom’s Japanese store has unveiled an “Ultra Collector’s Edition” for Monster Hunter Wilds for 181,590, or about $1,260. An overpriced collector’s item and surprising in its contents as it contains… a folding bike ! And no, it’s not a joke, as the official image below shows.
This edition of Monster Hunter Wilds, which costs over 1000 dollars, has therefore surprisingly decided to include a green, black and purple bike with which you can move freely. In addition to the game in the physical version, this limited edition includes a plush toy depicting a baby Seikret, a pouch shaped like a weapon bag and a Steelbook with identical graphics to the one that will be available in France. If you have ever lived in Japan, are a fan of Monster Hunter and want to spend more than 1000 dollars, head to Capcom’s Japanese website to pre-order this ultra collector’s edition.
