For a long time, the Silent Hill franchise was considered dead. But Konami decided to give it a second life and we can say that it did not do things by halves. We have the remake of Silent Hill 2 in the works, but also Silent Hill f and Townfall. However, that doesn’t stop fans from creating ambitious projects like the one we’re going to talk about today. And it is a very special work of license.
The remake of Silent Hill 4, that’s what it could be
You undoubtedly know it Silent Hill 4: The Room, if only in name. It is one of the classics of the genre, with a completely different approach than its three predecessors. It’s been around for almost 20 years, but the love the community has for it is still there. A user named Maxim Dorokhov proved this in a unique way by suggesting a remake on Unreal Engine 5. At the moment our husband’s project is limited to the apartment of Henry, the protagonist of Silent Hill 4. Visually it is successful and we would really like to see more. As you can imagine, this sequence is no longer playable afterwards. We can appreciate the beauty of creation, but we should not hope to get our hands on it one day, especially since that would take a tremendous amount of time. However, if a complete redesign of the 4 were to come to market, we could imagine it could be similar to what we see here.
In any case, it will surely make the mouths of those waiting for the remake of Silent Hill 2 water. Currently, it has not been shown since its announcement and its release date is still being determined. As far as we know, development is going well.
