Civilization has not only won friends by deciding to use low-detail graphics in the newer offshoots. A new competitor, Memoriapolis, has now appeared that focuses entirely on city building and goes into great detail.
Besides that you’ll see a co-op shooter that you have to work hard to get through and Warhammer 40K, dark and dirty as ever. Enjoy our trailers of the week!

Platz 3: No More Room in Hell 2

In this dark co-op shooter you start alone and have to find your co-op friends first
There is no more room in hellso now the residents are hanging around our streets, undead and smelling. Anyone who follows pop culture knows that there is a simple answer to that: guns. Lots of guns. And of course friendship, because it’s hard to survive alone.
Great special feature: In the co-op shooter No More Room in Hell 2, you first have to look for your co-op colleagues, because each player spawns alone. As soon as you have found each other, you can start looking for the big threat in the center of the game world. The trailer shows you the exciting setting and gameplay of the game, accompanied by a mildly disturbing sermon.

as Dimi would put it.

Platz 1: Memoriapolis

Memoriapolis: In this construction game you have to build the greatest capital of all time
We would expect detailed cities with densely built-up streets to be more common in an Anno-like game. In Memoriapolis, on the other hand, we progress through the ages like in Civilization and build wonders to be wonderful.
The title seems a bit like Civ as a real-time city building game. In Memoriapolis you build, develop and supply a single city that you lead through the eras, wars and upheavals. On the Steam page you can see pictures of the gameplay, which also show the high level of detail of the cities.
Not quite as timeless as the gameplay of Civilization is the PC on which it was developed:
Memoriapolis has already been released and has been available in Early Access on Steam since August 29, 2024. The French indie developer 5PM Studio estimates the price for the unfinished version to be around 25 dollars.
What do you think of this week’s trailer show? Have you already tried Memoriapolis and can you put your impressions into words? Are you all tuned to Space Marine 2? Feel free to write it in the comments!
