Recently announced, the next WTF game from the Like a Dragon license is presented in a crazy new trailer as the famous SEGA series has the secret.
After the misadventures of Ichiban Kasuga in Yakuza Like a Dragon and Infinite Wealth, the franchise leaves us once again in Hawaii, this time in the company of Goro Majima, who has decided to play a modern-day pirate. A very WTF synopsis as we’ve come to expect from the SEGA license, which still has plenty of madness left in this title aptly titled Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
Like a dragon pirate Yakuza in Hawaii hisse la grand-voile
SEGA had already announced the next game in the Yakuza license last month, with a first trailer that announced color, sea water and wooden legs. Goro Majima has mysteriously managed to invite himself to the Xbox Partner Preview in October to tell us a little more about his life as a Yakuza pirate he plans to build in Hawaii. We had already seen gameplay more reminiscent of old Yakuza titles, abandoning the turn-based aspect of Like a Dragon.
This new trailer for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii focuses on naval combat at this point. So we can see a relatively advanced adaptation of our boat exchanging cannon fire with the enemy ship. As in any self-respecting pirate battle, Goro can also approach the enemy ship to attack its crew.
This new game Like a Dragon therefore promises to be as spectacular as it is crazy, in short, in line with the previous works in the series. Be sure to see you on February 21st on PC, PS5 and Xbox to delight the seas of Hawaii.
