The Elden Ring DLC is just around the corner, but rest assured, you won’t suffer as much as you expected, it’s not as big as you expected. We won’t complain!
The next Elden Ring DLC promises colossal content. We’re told of new explorable regions, bosses, a hundred weapons, armor and skills galore… Clearly, FromSoftware hasn’t gone in with the back of the spoon, and that promises very, very heavy stuff. In any case, our comrade Suttercane left his preview with a smile and some bruises.
The Elden Ring DLC won’t be as big as expected, so all the better!
Despite all this, the Shadow of the World Tree DLC is not that huge. We just received confirmation that the game will weigh less than 20GB on console. It would be more like 16-17GB. It’s little compared to what it promises. Especially if we compare it with other DLCs such as Destiny 2’s Final Form, which alone required several dozen gigabytes. Not to mention major updates for games like Call of Duty, which force us to download several dozen gigabytes for some multi-maps.
So the Elden Ring DLC serves as a good student and that’s a good thing! Players with modest connections will be able to quickly benefit from it this way. This is even more true since it will be available in Pre-download from June 19th before final release on 21 June. We still have to wait a few days, but we’ve reached our goal!
