Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will be available for PS5 and PC on October 31, 2024. A new version costs $49.99, or $9.99 if you already own the game on PS4. On the other hand, don’t expect to buy the original at a low price hoping to pay for this upgrade and thus save money. This is not possible and is one of the unpleasant surprises that one finds on the PC, just like the mandatory PSN account on this platform. Despite these disappointments, should we give Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered a chance?

For example, the lighting in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is significantly better in the shots in the village. The colors are much more numerous and the number of NPCs, which are almost non-existent, has been increased. And improvements to this level can also be seen in the other images, with significantly more detailed scenes than before.
Jan-Bart van Beek, manager at Guerrilla Games, also reacted to the first conquests of the waterfall. « HZD was our first open world game. It offered locations scattered across a 30 km² map with a day/night cycle. It was difficult to check every corner of the world to make sure the lighting was correct.
