It’s always good to know in advance if your PC has what it takes to run big games. This new benchmark is designed to do just that.
EzBench is a benchmark running on the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine, an engine that has been available since early April and has managed to break out of its Early Access status.
A benchmark under Unreal Engine completely free
Ezbench is a FREE stress testing tool powered by next-gen Unreal Engine 5 technologies.
Test your computer with 8K textures, cinematic assets and ray tracing.EzBench started as an Easter jam project and evolved into a graphical stress testing tool. It is still in early development and is being worked on as a side project.
UI improvements and additional scenes are planned. The current version contains a stylized scene of a fantasy island. In the future we plan to add photorealistic scenes that show the true graphics capabilities of the engine. The current scene is more of a stress test than an engine showcase.
This tool is a stress test and represents the worst possible scenario. You should expect higher frame rates in optimized games.
Minimum and recommended configuration
On the other hand, the recommended configuration is pretty strong to run this Unreal Engine 5 benchmark:
- Processor: 10th Gen Intel / Equivalent
- R.A.M: 32GB storage
- Graphic: RTX 3000 series (or AMD equivalent)
- DirectX: Issue 12
- Disk Space : 25 GB available storage space
This also applies to the minimum configuration
- Processor: 7th Gen Intel / Equivalent
- R.A.M: 16GB memory
- Graphic: GTX 1080 (or AMD equivalent)
- DirectX: version 12
- Disk Space : 25 GB available storage space
In short, this is certainly the best way to know if the Unreal Engine 5 and therefore the creations with this engine can run on your PC. Even if a benchmark is obviously aimed at pushing your machine to its limits.
