A free update has arrived for The Sims 4 that includes a big new feature. This addition will further improve the experience for certain profiles.
The Sims 4 is still a huge success for EA with a community of over 70 million players. It’s neither more nor less than the most popular installment, and will remain that way for some time since the next game doesn’t have a release date. So, to maintain interest, Maxis developers have no choice but to provide regular updates and DLC. A somewhat special patch is now also available for download.
Free The Sims 4 Vitiligo Update Available
Last month, The Sims 4 added character castle content. A perfect DLC to build a majestic mansion and invite your virtual friends there. But the news free vitiligo update is slightly different. With this patch you can change the appearance of your Sim. What is Vitiligo? A disease that depigments the skin and causes white patches to appear all over the body. However, it was previously impossible to have such a character.
For greater representation, the game’s teams teamed up with Canadian model Winnie Harlow, and it’s now a standalone skin. “The new Vitiligo update is my favorite part of developing The Sims. When I was little, I would have loved to have a Sim that looked like me, a true representation of my skin in real life. This collaboration sends a powerful message that encourages players to embrace what makes them unique, both in game and in real life.”
“The vitiligo trait can occur in Sims of all ages and the patterns are varied to represent patches of varying sizes and degrees of symmetry. Additionally, players can select locations for their Sim’s face, upper body, lower body, arms, and legs. (above E.A). To get this trait, simply go to character creation and then “Skin Details”. Note that vitiligo depends on the tone of the skin and cannot overlap with moles.
