Furi comes free on PS5, even for PS Plus version owners. The Onnamusha DLC will add a new character to rediscover the title from a whole new angle.

Not really convincing, the Haven game returns to the background in favor of Furi, the nugget from the French studio The Game Bakers. The title “jubilant” to the “Magic Soundtrack” will celebrate a brilliant comeback in a few days. PS5 version, paid DLC and new gameplay possibilities, we explain everything to you.

A new DLC to rediscover the software

Take out your headphones to enjoy the music of the game, Furi returns on May 17th, 2022 with new Onnamusha content on PS5, PS4, PC and Switch. This paid DLC is available at a price of $6.99, gives you the opportunity to play with Rider Onnamusha in Story, Speedrun and Training modes. A deadly fighter with two fighting stances. “Spark” which is geared towards speed and agility, with double dodges and “Thunder”which is slower but more powerful.

The reason for this update? Feedback from fans who would like to have “to be able to forget Furi, to rediscover him”. The teams therefore got back to work to develop new mechanics to achieve this beautiful goal.

We’ve received many messages from fans and Furi, and one in particular stood out: “I wish I could forget about Furi to rediscover him.”. We were wondering if there was a way to get players to rediscover Furi. And a few weeks later we started work on Onnamusha! These new game mechanics bring a new challenge and allow you to completely rediscover the game.

For Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, however, the additional content does not seem to be planned for the time being.

Furi is available for free on PS5 with one condition

It may not have escaped your notice that The Game Bakers mentioned the PS5 for their DLC. And yes, Furi comes free on PlayStation 5 for owners of the title on PS4, including those who have the PS Plus version. The studio says so too The backup can be transferred.

The studio will also be releasing a free update to the base game that will include all paid and free content available for Furi and in particular the Un Combat de plus DLC as well as all improvements from the release (invincible mode, furier speedrun, alternate controls)….
