It has been revealed that the Among Us animated series will be coming to a screen near you sometime in the future. The adaptation is currently in production at CBS Studios, where they’ve teamed up with Among Us developer Innersloth to bring the series to life (via Variety).
Owen Dennis will serve as creator and executive producer of the Among Us series as part of a partnership with CBS Studios. Dennis is known for his work as a writer on animated series like Infinity Train and The Regular Show, and his experience certainly makes Dennis the perfect choice for the Among Us adaptation, given the tone of those series.

The Among Us series will follow a similar plot to the games, admittedly not a big one to begin with: “Your crew has been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing chaos, wrecking the ship and killing everyone. ‘Imposters’ or fall victim to their murderous plot.”
So how do you turn a party game about teamwork and betrayal into a full-fledged animated series? I’m not sure, but I think we can expect the same shenanigans that unfold in our own halls to unfold on screen. These include vehement accusations of being “su” to anyone and everyone, as well as plenty of lighthearted drama.
Titmouse will be the animation studio behind the series, known for its work on Big Mouth and Star Trek: Lower Decks. As for where the series will be watched, we’re not sure yet. According to an exclusive report by Variety, discussions are still ongoing regarding the network or streaming that the Among Us series will be affiliated with.
While I’m not entirely sure how the Among Us animated series will go, I’m certainly curious. Most importantly, I highly recommend you take a look at the creator Owen Dennis Twitter account; he often shares pictures of frogs in hats, and it’s very wholesome.
