Blizzard has been relatively tight-lipped about information about the upcoming Diablo 4 DLC. But that changed with the reveal of one of its main elements.
The Vessel of Hatred DLC for Diablo 4 will take us to the lush jungles of Nahantu on October 8th. A local guide would be helpful to brave the many dangers. Like any self-respecting DLC from the hack’n’slash series, this one offers us the opportunity to embody a whole new class that finally has the right to a proper presentation, and it comes wild!
Diablo 4’s DLC class finally out of the jungle
Until now, all we knew was that the next class coming with the Diablo 4 DLC would be called Holy Spirit. According to the most common speculation, it was a warrior capable of controlling the powers of spirits and wind. Almost a year after the very first announcement of Vessel of Hatred, we can finally give this new class a face and gameplay.
With a style strongly reminiscent of the witch doctor from the third work, the Sacresprit therefore takes on the appearance of a tribal warrior who wields a spear with great skill. He serves as a guardian of the jungle, but also of the spirit world, with which he has developed a special bond. In this way, he can borrow their strength to launch powerful elemental attacks and even use them directly on the material plane to support him. The spirits that accompany him are the jaguar Rezoka, the gorilla Wumba, the eagle Kwatli and the centipede Balazan.
In a dedicated blog post, Blizzard details Diablo 4’s next class. You can also get a glimpse of gameplay in the trailer below. The Sacresprit is definitely wild to play, but we’ll be able to judge it better when the Vessel of Hatred DLC releases on October 8 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
