Palworld is getting a huge update with a ton of completely free content. New friends, new game mechanics, new items and much more. Enough to rediscover the game.
It’s one of the biggest hits of the year, Palworld is obviously far from making headlines and is still a hit on PC and Xbox. It’s also said that the game could soon make its way to the PS5, we’ll see. But for now, the PocketPair studio is doubling down on its efforts to continue developing its baby and recently released the biggest content update since the game’s release.
A huge update for Palworld, and it’s all free!
Palw orld’s big update, Sakurajima, was quickly unveiled during the recent Summer Game Fest and went live on PC and Xbox on June 27th. In addition to numerous fixes, it was the new features that caused a stir. We’re talking about a brand new explorable region, the island of Sakurajima, which has unique biomes, but also new Pal species.
Added to this are many new features such as the Arena mode, which allows players to face each other in combat, or the possibility of customizing the look of their friends, in particular through new colors. There will also be a new XXL dungeon, an oil platform, as well as a new resource, crude oil, which can be extracted and refined to build new objects and constructions. We will also note the arrival of around ten new weapons such as the laser rifle, the flamethrower or even the meteor launcher (yes, yes) and the guided missile launcher. The sum!
There will also be new events and a hard mode for the Boss Tower to spice things up a bit.
There are also some new features in terms of the gameplay experience. The level cap has been increased to 55, the capacity of the Pal Bow has been increased from 480 to 960 Pals, and the maximum power of the Lifmunk Effigies has been increased from 10 to 12.
Finally, Xbox players will be pleased to know that the game finally has dedicated servers – excellent news.
All the Patch notes were published on if you want to see all this in detail. The update is already available for all versions of Palworld on PC and Xbox.
