Capcom is doing everything it can for the Tokyo Game Show. After highlighting Monster Hunter Wilds in detail, the publisher is offering console gamers the chance to try the biggest release of the year for free.
The trips come so quickly that we almost tend to forget the big games from the beginning of the year. This includes Dragon’s Dogma 2, which was a huge success despite a troubled launch. The unique experience has been improved with updates. The latest updates focus on accessibility and offer a new mode that makes the game even easier from the start. For this occasion, Capcom has decided to give almost everyone the opportunity to test these new features for free.
Ahead of the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom released a new update for Dragon’s Dogma 2. With 3 million sales in two months, the game still had a few kinks to fix. The focus is on some performance, difficulty, and balancing issues for certain professions when new animations are added. While fans once demanded a more difficult mode in NG+, the Japanese publisher preferred to make entry into the adventure easier for newcomers. In addition, the price of some items was reduced as inventory management became less burdensome. Capcom is therefore appealing to those first affected and is starting a new free test phase for Dragon’s Dogma 2 on Xbox Series and PS5.
No subscription is required, anyone can play for up to two hours for a few days. It’s certainly short, but sufficient for a first foray into the world of Insurgent. Of course, progress during this free trial will be retained and will carry over if you purchase the game. The adventure begins with the creation of your hero and his character. We strongly recommend that you take a look at the free application “Dragon’s: Character Creation and Saving” to prepare your characters and not waste time on these two precious hours. The free trial period is available until October 10th at 12:59 a.m. on PS5. However, it will only be available on Xbox Series until Tuesday, October 1st at 11:59am. Visit the games page on your console of choice to download this demo.
