Despite its advanced age, Skyrim continues to inspire passionate fans who want to fill the venerable title with content, especially with this massive expansion that looks like DLC.
Bethesda may be focusing on Starfield, The Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5 at the moment, but Skyrim continues to live its best life and does not seem ready to retire. To achieve this, it can count on dedicated and passionate fans who sometimes offer us new features that the creators of the game would not have denied. This is the case with the mod that interests us here.
A new unofficial DLC for Skyrim, by fans for fans
In addition to its various versions on almost every platform, Skyrim was entitled to three official DLCs: Dawnguard, which focuses on vampires, Dragonborn, which focuses on dragons, and Hearthfire, to create a home of its own in Skyrim. In its 13 years of existence, modders have spared no effort to enrich the adventure with their own DLC-style creations. Here’s another particularly notable example: Bards College Expansion by kinggath_creations.
We owe this modder other excellent creations such as Sim Settlements for Fallout 4. However, he takes it to the next level with this Skyrim mod, which, as the name suggests, focuses on the Bard school. This, in fact, offers a whole new set of fully synchronized quests, as well as a whole host of new features to fully exploit a career as a Bard, a faction somewhat neglected by Bethesda, in Skyrim.
However, unlike other high-end mods for Skyrim, this one is not free. In fact, it is only accessible in the Creation Club for 1,000 Creation Credits, or nine dollars. However, this is available on both PC and Xbox One and Series (unfortunately, there is currently no PlayStation version in sight), which is more undeniable compared to most modder creations, which are generally limited to the PC version.
