This War of Mine is probably one of the most realistic war games out there. And it’s back today in its Final Cut version, of which here’s the trailer.
If you haven’t played This War of Mine before, you know that this is a real masterpiece developed by Polish studio 11 Bit Studios. It doesn’t matter to think of yourself as a super soldier here, because we are right on the darkest side of the war. We must ensure the survival of a handful of civilians caught between two fires whose survival is becoming increasingly precarious over time. Hyper-brutal, the game depicts war in all its horror and introduces the player to a variety of dramas.

Originally inspired by the Balkan Wars of the mid-’90s, the game is particularly relevant given the conflict ravaging Ukraine. Therefore, after the game sold 7 million copies, the studio produced this Final Cut version to make the game available on current computers. This War of Mine Final Cut is therefore now available on PS5, Xbox Series X but also in GamePass so that everyone can discover this poignant title.
Of course, we’re taking all the content released so far and adding a lot of new features like new NPCs, a new scenario, and improved tech with a 4K display and an improved UI.
