Like every month, PlayStation Plus tries to offer very nice games to its members and this month of December was no exception to the rule, except for a handful of countries that are subject to censorship.
Unfortunately, while most gamers around the world can enjoy a rock-solid December PS Plus with no fewer than five games being offered on PS5 and PS4, including the absolutely must-have trilogy Mass Effect Legendary Edition, some others are left with two titles short and say we, an indie game…something special.
No Mass Effect on PS Plus, but a hyper-violet indie game
Several countries in the Middle East have in fact replaced the three Mass Effect titles that were banned due to censorship, particularly for the homosexual relationships that can be woven into the game, and instead of this emblematic license, Bioware signed the PS Plus members of the Middle East East has to be content with thatUntwisted
While the game is highly rated on Steam, it clearly doesn’t compare to the three Mass Effect titles, and players are upset.
Even if it meant censorship, they would at least have appreciated a worthy replacement for the Bioware trilogy, but no.
Therefore applies to these players Untwisted will join biomutant
Middle Eastern countries are notorious for their intransigence, easily censoring content they deem inappropriate, even if consumers choose to access it. Here then, Mass Effect Legendary Edition actually the costs again and we can already imagine that Mass Effect 4 will be entitled to the same fate.
In any case, Sony could have offered a slightly larger title or more games to compensate. Players are ranting, maybe they’ll be heard, but at the moment there doesn’t seem to be anything to suggest it.
