During the annual The Game Awards, the next game in the Runeterra universe was revealed in greater detail. A video shows the gameplay sequences.

The Obscures and Bilgewater have their own game featuring Ruined King: A League of Legends story developed by Airship Syndicate and told by Riot Games. The turn-based role-playing game will put the two regions of the Runeterra universe in the spotlight in fierce battles in the MOBA League of Legends.
Now that the game has been postponed further into 2021, this trailer, which shows the progress of the game’s development, should reassure many. The video features fights, different levels, and a range of characters from the competitive game like Ahri, Pyke, Braum, and more.

The developers also announced that many League of Legends-inspired pieces of equipment, such as the Warmog (the HP pocket piece), would be incorporated into the RPG. The game features a farming side with a fishing and search advice system to earn rewards and a bestiary to identify beasts and their weaknesses.
The lore is also deepened with items scattered across the levels to learn more about the plot. a benefit for fans of the universe. The accumulation of this knowledge rewards players in the same way as other gameplay elements.
However, there is no specific release date or window for the game yet. Ruined King: A League of Legends Story will be released on PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
