With every new batch of iPhones, it’s the same old story. Why are the borders so wide? Apple would finally consider changing that.
For a number of years, consumers have been asking Apple to lower the boundaries of iPhones, knowing that the competition often fares better at this level. Well, according to a new rumor as well as multiple sources, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models might finally see the long-awaited moment coming.
This time is it good for Apple?
To summarize the situation, ShrimpApplePro posted a series of tweets on Twitter on January 21st discussing the design changes for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro. At the time, he explained that the higher-end models would have screens with much thinner bezels, as well as curved edges and a flat panel. He also said in those tweets that the larger model, dubbed the iPhone 15 Pro Max or iPhone 15 Ultra, will have a design meant to mimic the design of the Apple Watch.
Well, to confirm this, the insider recently posed the question to other sources as to whether the next iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max’s bezels would actually be thinner. On the other hand, Apple wouldn’t touch the size of the screen, which would remain 6.7 inches. The flat screen with slightly curved edges would use the same system as the Apple Watch.
Other sources confirm this information and state that the edges of the pros will be thinner.
They are unaware of the curved edges, but that’s okay, it’s still very early, mid-February.
Mass production of the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro would not begin until mid-2023. So it’s actually too early to be sure.
