With this mod she becomes a full-fledged companion. After you get to know each other, she will appear at your camp on your next long break, ready to join your quest.
She brings a new dynamic to the group with her own skills. You can level her up, give her multiple classes, and even respect her if you want to customize her role. Great news for players looking to get a Bard without changing other companion builds.
A mod that is still in development
Although the mod is already functional, it is still being improved. For example, Alfira doesn’t yet have specific lines for group dialogue or combat, which could limit her immersion in certain situations.
Additionally, she does not participate in certain major storylines, such as events involving Tieflings. Nevertheless, it remains a valuable addition to enrich your games.
This Baldur’s Gates 3 mod raises an interesting question: could Alfira have been an official companion? Some clues in the game files suggest that Larian Studios had considered this possibility. For example, fans discovered traces of an unused registration system for Alfira. An idea that was ultimately abandoned, but which this mod brings back to life.
