HexaDrive, co-developer of the free-to-play PS5 game Silent Hill The Short Message, is gearing up for a big announcement and is teasing it with a fascinating video.
Available for free on PS5, Silent Hill The Short Message was a hit. Due to its free-to-play status, the popularity of the license and the desire of players to return, the title quickly reached the one million downloads mark. A fervor that could perhaps serve as a calling card for the developers for their next horror production. This will be announced in detail next week, but here is a preview.

What awaits the HexaDrive studio, which was co-developed? Silent Hill The Short Messagein the coming months? The team says their next game will be officially announced on July 19, 2024 during BitSummit Drift, but we already have a taster with a video teaser.
“Here’s the teaser trailer for Hexadrive’s upcoming Japanese-style horror adventure game. In this game, players take on the role of a protagonist lost in an unknown world and return to his original world by solving strange puzzles, avoiding monsters, and discovering hidden secrets.
The basics of survival horror certainly seem to be there with puzzles, monsters and creepiness. Likewise, no information is given about the publisher. After the success of Silent Hill The Short Message, will HexaDrive continue to partner with Konami to distribute their new game? That question should be answered by next week, with the hope that we have some good additional horror software to sink our teeth into in the coming months.
