Stellar Blade just received a new update and one of the new features goes a little too far in terms of “realism”.
Upon release and even before, Stellar Blade made a lot of noise. Without a doubt, it is an excellent action game. An edgy beat’em all, very beautiful and with an interesting universe. We will also notice a great OST, some music is simply heavenly and clearly remains in the memory. We loved it in our columns. However, if the game has aroused so much interest and sparked so much discussion, it is primarily because of its heroine, Eve.
A new update for Stellar Blade, is that too far?
Infinite legs, dream body… In addition to her fighting skills, the protagonist impresses with her slightly imaginative model physique. Unfortunately, the poor thing is quickly relegated to the rank of a ready-made doll and doesn’t really benefit from the treatment it deserves, as we found in our test. On the other hand, there are a pretty crazy amount of costumes in the game, some of which are frankly beautiful and stylish, while others are clearly borderline. But so far we could say that everything was going well… until the last update.
The Shift Up studio is pretty proud and has just started working the new update 1.007, which makes the game even more “realistic” and is a bit overused. Stellar Blade has an eye for detail and we knew that from the start. The game physics are quite good and of course Eve benefits the most from it. His entire body, whether in combat or not, is animated with a certain real ism, although the cursors tend to move to very specific locations, such as his chest. We will intervene, the studio knows exactly who it is talking to, and with the new patch it goes even further.
Added several features, only one gets all the attention…
Stellar Blade update 1.007 adds interesting features such as: B. the ability to restart certain summer events or the right to make markers on the map. A very good thing, especially in open areas. But what everyone remembers from this update at the moment are the physics improvements and “collisions on Eva’s body” on all costumes.
All new features of Stellar Blade Patch 1.007:
- You can continue to enjoy the “Summer Event” on Oasis by turning the content on/off.
- The Summer Event BGM (Don’t Forget Me) is now available in camp.
- You can place markers on the map by clicking the square button in the map menu.
- You can add EVE gear to your favorites.
- A new Ammo Pack item is now available for purchase, allowing you to stock up on all the ammo at once.
- If you spend more than 15,000 gold, a purchase confirmation window will appear to avoid unintentional spending.
- Visually improved collisions (and physics) between different body parts in EVE.
- Various other bug fixes.
In other words, the heroine reacts more “realistically” with her breasts and the wind strips her even more. She can’t even stand upright without her underwear showing. The PS5 Pro patch and photo mode are not even available yet and we are already entitled to an anthology of screenshots on social networks to “witness” these additions, which are obviously important in the eyes of some. The studio is quite proud of its success as it is THE featured feature social networks. Everyone will think what they want, but was it really necessary?
When we start to draw a parallel with what’s happening right now, especially since the announcement of Ghost of Yotei, there’s something to smile about…
