Known issues in Helldivers 2

There are still issues introduced by this patch that we are working on, or from a previous release that have not yet been resolved. This list does not claim to be complete. We continue to identify and resolve issues. These are broken down according to returns, postponements, severity, etc.

  • The ship’s Superior Conditioning Methodology module is not functioning properly
  • Players may be unable to navigate to search results in the social menu

Various issues related to friend invitations and crossplay

  • The player’s name may appear blank in other players’ friends list
  • A friend request cannot be accepted if the requesting player has changed their username before the request is accepted
  • Cross-platform friend invitations may not appear in the Friend Requests tab
  • Players cannot remove players from their friends list if they were added via a code
  • Players cannot unblock players who were not previously in their friends list
  • Damage over time effects can only be applied once when caused by the host
  • Players may experience delays in receiving medals and Super Credits
  • Enemies who die from bleeding do not carry out personal orders and extermination missions
  • Some weapons like the scythe cannot shoot through foliage
  • The scopes of some weapons, such as the Anti-Material Rifle, are slightly off-center
  • Arc weapons behave inconsistently and can sometimes misfire
  • Spear aiming is inconsistent, making it difficult to lock on large enemies
  • A stratagem’s beam can lock onto an enemy but be used at its original location
  • Explosions don’t break your limbs (except when you hit a rock)
  • Blue stratagems around Automaton sensor turrets will be reflected and can knock them away if an attempt is made to summon them near a turret
  • A planet’s liberation status reaches 100% at the end of all defense missions
