Call of Duty Black Ops 6 has released a new update with improvements to the campaign, multiplayer (modes, weapons…) and more. Here are the changes.
After running through Call of Duty Black Ops 6’s amazing single-player campaign and manning the multiplayer servers for several hours, Treyarch delivers one of the license’s best episodes here, in our opinion. And for good reason, after long years of stagnation, this new adventure finally surprises and dusts off a formula that has stood still. There are still some annoying issues, like spawn kill issues, but it’s making progress and it was almost unexpected.
A new update (04/11/2024) for Call of Duty Black Ops 6
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is a huge success, but as is often the case with big titles, it’s not uncommon for players to encounter problems at launch. That’s why the developers also released an emergency patch upon release to fix nasty bugs that could affect fluidity. After a second update, the game welcomed its new and third update this Monday, November 4, 2024. What’s new?
If you agreed to pay $20 for the Advanced Helmet Mode option, you can use it as it has been reactivated in the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 settings on all platforms. On the campaign side, you should experience fewer crashes, no longer fall victim to data corruption at the start of the single-player mission “Most Wanted” or the problem of sparkling water at certain distances. Hideout rewards have also been updated. Finally, still on Solo, bugs that resulted in “extremely positive or negative monetary values” were fixed.
In general, the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 update improves its stability when interacting with the Message of the Day and voice commands, correctly displays successful Prestige Challenges in Multiplayer and Zombies, and fixes a bug that Bailey did not have in the Operator Select Select the right weapon in your hand.
Improvements for multiplayer mode
To no one’s surprise, the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 update is also responsible for rebalancing a whole host of weapons, gear, moves, and even the experience gain rate. With this patch, the legendary map Nuketown, which has been available since November 1, 2024, is playable in private play. Additionally, a fix was applied that aimed to address a bug that caused players to appear in the killcam before selecting their class, and the stability of Infected mode was improved.
From now on, when you join a Call of Duty Black Ops 6 multiplayer game, you will no longer automatically be equipped with the last class you selected. Likewise, death is no longer displayed when selecting a class when it appears. One of the biggest changes comes from readjusting respawn logic across multiple maps. If you really want to know everything, full patch notes are accessible, but in English.
