One Piece is an anime saga that is not without controversyLike when Eiichiro Oda explained how he draws women for the series or when Toei Animation shared spoilers for the manga. But perhaps the new controversy that has stirred the networks is a little bit more troublingbecause it shows Luffy with alcohol on the hands in the Shonen Jump cover and this one, who is 19 years old, would still be a minor to consume alcohol in Japan.
In Japan, drinking alcohol is prohibited if you are under 20 years old And this is something that fans take very seriously. Numerous negative comments have appeared on Twitter after the post with the cover of One Piece, showing the anger of the followers who think that Luffy shouldn't drink because he's not old enough yet and that, clearly, this cover seems to some, a irresponsibility by Shonen Jump magazine.
