With A Plague Tale: Requiem a sequel has already been announced at E3, but A Plague Tale: Innocence is by no means neglected. The successful title will soon be optimized specifically for the new generation of consoles.
Following the announcement of the successor A Plage Tale: Requiem, there was again news about A Plague Tale: Innocence on the occasion of the digital E3. The first part, which was also hot in business for the title of Game of the Year in many award shows, will be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
The story-based action game originally published by Asobo Studio in May 2019 should be available for the new consoles as early as July 8, 2021. This was confirmed together with publisher Focus Home Interactive. On these platforms, the high-quality and cinematic storytelling – inspired by other titles such as The Last of Us or Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons – will be even more opulent.
The graphics quality should be increased noticeably and then shine in 4K resolution. You can also look forward to 60 fps gameplay, 3D audio and other new features. Also good news: Anyone who bought the full version on PS4 or Xbox One will receive a free upgrade to the next-gen version within the same console family.
A leak also recently suggested that A Plage Tale: Innocence could soon be presented as a free title for PlayStation Plus in July. Anyone who has not yet played the successful top hit will be able to catch up on it – probably also on the PS5. The official confirmation is still pending.
