You only have a few hours left to try this popular game for free on Steam. Don’t miss this chance, especially if you like terrible experiences.
As part of its latest free trial weekend, Steam celebrated Halloween with a very spooky title that had a small hit with users. If you missed the boat and want to extend the horror festival, there’s still a little time left to enjoy it without breaking the bank.
Don’t be afraid to try this game for free on Steam
This is actually the name of the game, which is still available in free trial on Steam until 6pm tonight: Don’t Be Afraid. Developed by Limo Games and Broken Arrow Games, published by Eneida Games and Untold Tales and released at the end of December 2020, it is a horror-adventure game. We play a little boy who is kidnapped by a psychopath and imprisoned in our torturer’s huge mansion.
The title, which you can try out for free on Steam, offers us the first-person perspective of a child and plays with the primal fears of this innocent time. The program includes disjointed mannequins, very scary dolls and toys, disturbing clowns and other elements that could traumatize a young boy. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the cult game Amnesia The Dark Descent, as is the gameplay. This isn’t about shooting at everything that moves. Armed only with a candle and your eyes, you must move through this vast residence and discover its many secrets to escape. All of this has definitely earned it very positive average reviews from users of the Valve platform.
Note that this isn’t the only free Halloween game currently available on Steam. This time it’s actually possible to get a lifetime of recovery without spending a dime Unloved (although via the Fanatical website) or even playable for free Egg robbers. Two more first-person games, but this time with the offer of scaring each other with friends. So if you like terrifying experiences, there’s plenty to do, and what’s more, they’re free.
