ASUS has been offering high-end quality monitors for a few years now, particularly in terms of Full HD and 4K. Once is not customary this time it concerns a QHD panel.
The Asus ROG Swift PG329Q is an IPS panel of 32 inch with a QHD definition (2560 x 1440 pixels) which receives the “certification” Fast IPS, or in this case here a refreshing frequency of 175 Hz. The screen offers in particular a response time of 1ms.
For colors, this covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color space. This instructor is certified HDR 600, so far from the traditional HDR 400 which has HDR only in name. The icing on the cake to avoid any tearing of the image, the screen has Adaptive Sync allowing both to be compatible FreeSync and G-Sync.
The launch is scheduled for the return / end of the year at an unknown hourly rate. But given the technologies, the cooling frequency and the HDR 600 you can count on something that will hurt your wallet.
