It’s Monday again – and that allows us to find out which games are currently most popular on Steam. The Viking survival game Valheim has dominated the Steam Charts for over a month. And this time again nothing changes.
Nevertheless, the Steam Charts are exciting again this week, as there are some interesting newcomers.
Forza Horizon 4 conquers Steam
Directly behind the long-running Valheim there is a racing game that has only been available on Steam last week: Forza Horizon 4. Although the original release took place on September 28, 2018, at that time only in Microsoft’s Windows Store.
Despite its age, Forza Horizon 4 is still considered a the best racing game right nowas you can check out our list of the best PC racing games. You can find out which games could overtake Forza in the future in our list of the most exciting sports and racing games for 2021:

However, the Steam version causes problems for many players: Partly missing sound, defective steering wheel support, performance problems and crashes (crashes! No accidents!) Overshadow the Steam success of the actually terrific racing game. In addition, many players complain about Microsoft’s pricing policy, because even two and a half years after the release, the basic version still costs 70 dollars. There are also umpteen expansion and car packages.
Nevertheless, the Steam release is a complete success, because Forza Horizon 4 was able to position itself with two different versions in positions 2 and 4 in the Steam charts. In addition, over 25,000 players were online at the same time last weekend.
More has happened
But not only Forza is new to the Steam Charts this week – there are quite a number of newcomers. With Stronghold Warlords, the latest part of the castle building game comes in ninth place. You can read how good that turned out in our test or see directly in the test video:
